St. Patrick's Day with the Henry's

St. Patrick's day this year was spent taking Carter down to the hospital to get his 3month ultrasound on his kidney. He was a very good little boy during the entire exam, however, the sonographer was unable to get a clear view of his kidney because he had some "free air" so the results of his scan were basically inconclusive.... so... we are meeting with his urologist on Wed. 3/24 to see if another scan is necessary or if we're going to wait until he's 6 months to get another one. So far, Carter isn't exhibiting any problems so we are hopeful that everything is ok!

Carter and I were also surprised when daddy came home early that day... it turns out that he was laid off for an unknown amount of time. According to his boss, he could go back as early as next week or it could be a few weeks. So at this point, we're just playing it by ear and hoping that he'll go back to work soon, as we can't survive out here on my income alone. On the brighter side of things, Carter got to spend Thursday and Friday with daddy which was nice for the both of them to bond without mommy around. Adam also had his parents come down and had grandpa help him get our shower framed in so that we can do the tile... if any of you recall, the shower has been ripped out since July 2008...
